You may check that this product is trusted and used by the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK by clicking here.

The stick style test allows you to easily pee straight onto the stick. Other brands such as First Response and Clear Blue use the same design with their pregnancy tests.

Specifications:

  • LH sensitivity: 20 mIU/mL

20mIU/mL ovulation tests are the most sensitive tests we stock. If you would like details on which sensitivity is best for you, please read our article here: https://babyandyou.co.nz/what-sensitivity-is-best-for-an-ovulation-test.

  • FDA and CE approved
  • Used by the NHS in the United Kingdom

Directions for use:

  • Make sure you do not open the package until you are ready to begin the test.
  • You should test your urine at the same time every day to get consistent results.
  • You should not test with urine from early morning (it is better to test from 10am onwards).
  • Do not drink too much two hours prior to performing the test, as doing so could dilute the sample and not show when you have a LH surge.
  1. Remove the test from the pouch and then take the cap off the test stick.
  2. Hold the end of the test in your urine stream for 10 seconds, or dip the end of the test into a sample of your urine for 10 seconds.
  3. After 10 seconds have passed, place the cap back onto the test stick, and then lay the test on a flat surface.
  4. Wait 5 minutes and then read the results.
  5. You should NOT read the results after 10 minutes as after this time a false reading may show.

It is easier to perform a more accurate test by dipping the end of the test into a sample of your urine, so we recommend you do so if possible.

How to read the results:

Positive for LH surge: If two colour bands are visible, and the test band is equal to or darker than the control band, you will probably ovulate within the next 24-48 hours. If you are trying to get pregnant, you should have intercourse frequently over the next 48 hours.

Negative for LH surge: Only one colour band appears on the control region, or the test band appears but is lighter than the control band. This means there is no LH surge. You should continue daily testing.

Failed test: The control line has not appeared after 5 minutes. You should repeat the test with a new unit.
